Dress: Forever 21/ Jacket: Old Navy/ Shoes: Franco Sarto from Marshalls

I have had this dress hanging in my closet for too loooooong now. I've wanted to wear it but sometimes when I look at it I think "costume?" I pushed past that and decided to play on the military vibe instead. My camo surplus jacket from Old Navy was the perfect match along with a little sparkle from my sequin waist belt.

No! I didn't graffiti the wall behind me BUT it did just happen to feel like a great setting for my artsy vibes that were flowing all day. I just felt like pushin' the funk as I got dressed. I love my slouchy harem pants from the Quiksilver womens line and decided to get a little more crazy on them by adding the turban and my vans!

Toms Make Me Wanna Dance!

I know this looks a little weird BUT there is just something about wearing Toms that reminds my feet of being in ballet slippers and gets them pointing into action! The passion to dance still runs through my blood even though I'm not actively pursing it. I think this whole ensemble, though simple, made me feel like dancing and took me back to my days in ballet classes...usually clad in black footless tights, a leotard and a cozy oversized top.

I love a good crisp button down shirt like this one by Ralph Lauren. It makes me feel polished and a bit more mature. I prefer to wear it casually with my jeans and some cute heels. Simple, Classic,Clean :)

Easy Does It

Dress: Billabong/ Vest: American Eagle/ Necklace: F21/ Head band: Target/ Boots: my grandmothers!

I felt like wearing something easy today which led to choosing this bandeau dress from billabong. The bold print and colors pulled me in. I've also yet to wear a headband this way so, with the look of the vest and boots (which actually belonged to my grandmother!) I decided to try it out. Easy was the thought I had this morning but that changed a few hours into work when I had the task of changing lightbulbs in the display window-requiring me to bend down...I'm sure it was a sight for people passing by but luckily I made it through without embarrassing myself!
