I could not help but jump for JOY on Monday night when the voting came to a close and somehow I made it into the highest voted spot!! What an exciting feeling! SO, here are pictures from Monday that my sweet husband took of me in my excitement and somewhat elfish outfit of the day...Tis' the season!

So, only one day left to hopefully stay in the top 3 highest voted of the Lauren Alaina/Justin Boots competition. Its been fun thinking of different ways to wear my boots over the last few days. This morning I decided on one of my favorite Billabong dresses with a cropped jean jacket that goes well with just about anything! Its almost too warm today to even wear tights but I've decided I really do like the warm winter over a cold one SO I'll take it!

So,I've entered this competition to design a pair of boots for American Idol star Lauren Alaina and there are only 4 more days of voting left!! To keep in the spirit I'm going to try to mix up outfits over the next 4 days that incorporate my own boots that I designed and painted and have been the inspiration leading to where Im at today! Here goes.....!

The Diva Dress

How cool is the cut of this dress?! I have loved seeing the dresses going from short in front to long in the back BUT this is like a mini dress within a maxi. I felt like Carrie Underwood or some desert diva prancing around all day. Nothing like wearing something that makes you feel like you're on cloud nine no matter where you are or what you're doing :) 

Gettin' Some Air

My Nike Airs are one of my favorite purchases from last year. When I wear them I feel like jumping into a dance video or one of my favorite dance movies like Step Up 3D ....Definitely the best in my opinion of all Step up movies...if you're into dance :) Luckily I had my mom in town over the weekend to help catch this air shot and to show off in her sassy little sweater and boots!

I was inspired today by an article I read last night in Lucky Magazine about casually wearing your sequin favorites not only at night or to parties but during the day as well. Not a problem here! Day or night I LOVE me some sequins!

Red Lips and Leopard Prints

I fell in love with this dress on the sale rack($9.99) at Urban a few months ago and literally just took the tags off this morning. I have been dying to wear it but keep putting it off. Its ease and whimsy inspired me to pull out my red lipstick, cropped motorcycle jacket and a big top knot bun. A combination you can't not enjoy!

Love a long top

Yes...its another top from H&M. I went for the first time ever last month in San Diego and found some awesome tops! I love a good long top like this one that you can simply throw on with a pair of leggings. There will definitely be a few more pics to come. Its a good thing we don't have an H&M down the street because I would have a hard time resisting!

Rainy Day

The rainy day forced me to bring my camera inside which made for a little challenge of where to take pictures in our house. I couldn't not take pictures of this outfit since its the first time I've worn my new top and high waisted jeans from H&M in San Diego. I LOVE wearing high waisted bottoms for a change from the regular or low rise. I was so thrilled to find a pair in H&M as well as this new blouse that only cost $12.99!

Hat Love

This sheer blouse is one of my favorite purchases this year. I got it on the sale rack at Urban for $19! I love the sheer effect but have not been bold enough thus far to wear it solo. I like wearing a high waisted bottom with this top too since it is cropped in the front. And to top it all off I decided to show my hat some love. I have always loved hats but its usually only my baseball caps that get all the attention throughout my casual weekends outdoors!

My first T-Shirt Design

I though I'd share one of my latest creative moments. This is my hairstylist Randall. It was his birthday a few weeks ago and I wanted to add to his already stylish closet. I thought I'd find him another really cool t-shirt and then this brilliant idea popped into my head...Make him one!! SO, I thought of things he really likes...like hairspray. He's a hairspray master really :) hehe. The idea all led to this sketch, then to Zazzle where you can print on anything and vua-la! I have designed my first t-shirt! I wanted the image to be darker BUT it was a first time and he LOVED it!
